Foundation Grant Helps Expand Outreach

December 2021 — The Bethel Bible Series received a grant of $11,295 from the Bethel Lutheran Church Endowment Foundation to help teach God’s Word around the world in 2022.

The grant money will support three key Bethel Bible Series initiatives:

  • Chinese language outreach — enrollment fees for Chinese American churches and the printing of Chinese lesson books.

  • Training in Costa Rica — providing Spanish-language lesson books and Bibles for longtime teacher Patricia Vargas to use in her classes for Honduran migrants in the mountains of Costa Rica.

  • New international programs — scholarships to add three new international teaching ministries this year.

“The Bethel Endowment Foundation’s support is vital for helping us spread the Good News of Jesus Christ “to the ends of the earth,” said Rev. Jeff Quinto, Executive Director of the Bethel Bible Series. “This grant money helps fill gaps for international partners and churches that have very limited resources and may not otherwise be able to offer this training program.”
